How Do You Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month? – Startup Cuba TV

The 30-day period from September 15th to October 15th is officially National Hispanic Heritage month. Everybody honors this time differently so we want to know how you do it.

National Hispanic Heritage Month was started in 1968 (officially as National Hispanic Heritage Week) to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic Americans who have inspired others to achieve success. Today, it’s a 30-day period defined by celebrations of the history and cultures of Americans with a family legacy from Spain, the Caribbean, Mexico and Central and South America.

The month is an important reminder not only of our nation’s immigrant history but also of the magic that happens when cultures come together. We hope that everyone, Latinx or not, takes a break this month to honor and celebrate Hispanic culture and our country’s diversity. Thus the question… Tell us what you’re doing to celebrate.

We’ll share the results of this poll in our weekly newsletter. (All responses are anonymous.)
